Cementing PVC joints requires attention to detail, but it’s a straightforward process if you follow these steps carefully.


Step 1: Preparing the Pipe

  1. Cut the Pipe Accurately

    • Use a PVC cutter or a saw designed for PVC pipes to make a clean, straight cut. Avoid rough or jagged edges.
    • Smooth the edges using a file, and remove any burrs to ensure a tight fit.
  2. Create a Chamfer
